We give private vaccinations at our Palmers Green clinic for adults and children: seasonal flu, HPV, chickenpox, shingles, meningitis B and ACWY, hepatitis A and B, and catch-up doses for anyone who has missed part of the routine schedule. Vaccines are given by a GP, with time to answer questions first.

Why people choose private vaccination
The NHS programme covers most people who need a vaccine, and where you are eligible we will say so and point you to it. Private vaccination is for the gaps: adults who were never vaccinated as children, people who fall just outside an age band, families who want the flu vaccine for everyone at once, and students or workers who need proof of vaccination for a course or a job.
Each appointment includes a short consultation to check the vaccine is right for you, a discussion of side effects, and a record you can keep. We enter vaccines given into your record and, with your consent, tell your NHS GP.
What to expect
Most vaccines are a single injection in the upper arm and take a few minutes. A sore arm, tiredness or a mild temperature for a day or two is common and is a normal immune response. Serious reactions are rare; you are asked to wait in the clinic for a short time after certain vaccines so we can help if one occurs.
Children
Children can be vaccinated at the clinic with a parent or guardian present. Bring the red book or any record of vaccines already given so the doctor can plan catch-up doses correctly.

Flu vaccine is usually available from September to around February. Outside that period supply is limited.
