What we are for

Most people who see us are not looking for something exotic. They want to see a doctor today, be listened to properly, and leave with a plan. The practice is built around that: same-day appointments most weekdays, appointment lengths you choose, and doctors who explain rather than rush.

We work alongside the NHS, not instead of it. With your consent we send a summary of every consultation to your NHS GP, and when an NHS route is the better one for you, we say so.

Standards and regulation

• Every doctor holds General Medical Council registration with a licence to practise, and works to the GMC’s Good Medical Practice.
• The practice works to the Care Quality Commission standards for independent healthcare.
• Your records are held securely in a clinical system and used only as described in our privacy notice, in line with UK GDPR.
• Fees are published in full and quoted before anything not listed is done.
• If something goes wrong we want to know: our complaints process explains how to raise a concern and how it is handled.
