Refer a patient to GPLine — private GP in Palmers Green
You don't need an NHS referral to see a GPLine doctor. Refer yourself, a family member, or a patient — book online in about a minute, or call the practice during opening hours.
For GPs, clinicians and insurers referring a patient
You can refer a patient to GPLine without an NHS referral. Use the form below or call the practice on 07460 466684 during opening hours, and reception will offer a time — usually the same working day. Please put only the patient’s name, contact details and the service they need in the form; bring or send reports and letters separately once the appointment is agreed, so nothing clinical travels by web form.
After the appointment you receive, with the patient’s consent, a letter from the GMC-registered GP who saw them, written the same day, setting out the history, what the examination found, any results and the plan. The same summary goes to the patient’s NHS GP where they agree to it. Every appointment comes with an itemised invoice for insurance claims.
We see patients of all ages, in clinic in Palmers Green, by video anywhere in the UK, or at home across North London. Blood tests, referral letters to specialists and imaging, fit notes and private prescriptions can all follow from the appointment.
Referring yourself or a family member
Most people who use this page are referring themselves, a parent or a child. You do not need anyone’s permission: book the appointment online in about a minute, or use the form and reception will come back to you with a time.
If you are booking for someone else — an older relative, or a child who will need a parent or guardian present — tell us who the appointment is for and the best number to reach the person who will be there. A home visit is often the easiest option for a relative who cannot manage the journey.
Referral form
Fields marked * are required. Please do not attach or paste reports here — bring or send those separately once the appointment is agreed.
What happens after you submit the form
Reception replies by phone or email, usually the same working day, with a time that suits. Nothing is charged when you submit the form or book; the fee is paid at the appointment, by card or cash. If you need to be seen today, the booking page shows the real times that are free, and booking online is quicker than waiting for a reply.
For anything life-threatening do not use this form: call 999. For urgent advice outside our opening hours, call NHS 111.
What a referral from us includes
A referral is a letter written by the GMC-registered doctor who saw you, during the appointment itself. It sets out the history, what the examination found and any results so far, and puts the question to the consultant, imaging service or diagnostic provider — one you choose, or one we suggest for the problem. The letter is part of the appointment fee, you keep a copy, and with your consent a summary goes to your NHS GP so your main record stays complete. More about specialist referrals.
Referring a patient or someone in your family? Use the referral form above, or call the practice, and reception will come back to you with a time.
Fees for referred patients
Referred patients pay the same fees as everyone else, per visit, with no registration fee and no membership. A 20-minute GP appointment in clinic is £90; a video consultation of the same length is £90; a home visit is from £180, depending on distance. Referral letters written during the appointment are included. Every fee, including longer appointment lengths, blood tests and health checks, is on our pricing page, and we give an itemised invoice for insurance claims.
