How it works

Book a blood-test appointment online or add tests to a GP appointment. Some tests need you to fast or to come at a certain time of day; we tell you when you book. The sample is taken in the clinic and sent to the laboratory the same day.

Results are reviewed by one of our GPs. Normal results are sent to you with a short note. Anything that needs discussion is explained in a follow-up call or appointment, with a plan for what happens next. You can also ask for a copy of the report for your own records or your NHS GP.

Why review by a doctor matters

A number on its own is not an answer. Reference ranges vary between laboratories, some results depend on the time of day or what you ate, and a slightly out-of-range value is often meaningless without the rest of the picture. Every result here is read by a GP who knows why you had the test and can tell you honestly whether it matters.

Tests requested by another clinician

If a specialist, fertility clinic or occupational health service has asked you to have blood tests, bring their request. We take the samples and send the results to you and, where you ask us to, to them.
